Night Shift Pharmacist
for an inpatient hospital in southeast Alabama. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy overnight workflows, autonomy, and a consistent 7-on / 7-off schedule. The assignment is contract-based with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right fit. Position Highlights Inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
Night shift role with a consistent 7-on / 7-off rotation
ASAP start
13-week contract with potential temp-to-hire option

Schedule 7 on / 7 off
Nights: 9:00 PM 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities Verify medication orders in an inpatient setting
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during overnight shifts
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and clinical questions
Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Provide clinical judgment and decision-making support during overnight hours
Required Qualifications
xsgimln Active and unrestricted Alabama Pharmacist license
Recent hospital pharmacy experience
Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently while supporting overnight operations
