An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential support to K-12 students within a school setting in Orange Park, FL. This full-time, itinerant contract position involves working across multiple schools to deliver occupational therapy services, primarily covering a medical leave through the remainder of the current school year. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in K-12 schools, addressing developmental, sensory, and motor skill challenges. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document and track student progress in alignment with school district standards. Adapt therapy strategies and activities to meet diverse needs of students across various school sites. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the educational development of students. Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and school district policies. Qualifications: Active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist license is required. Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred. Ability to travel between different school locations within the district. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively. Location and Schedule: Based in Orange Park, FL, serving schools within St. Johns County. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Position duration from January 8, 2025, through June 1, 2026.
