This role plays a critical part in managing both sterile and non-sterile drug distribution processes while enhancing overall pharmacy service integration to improve efficiency and optimize medication delivery for inpatient care. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth operation of drug distribution systems, coordinating workflows between unit-based pharmacists and central/satellite pharmacy teams, directly supervising staff, managing daily pharmacy operations, and developing a budget-neutral technician schedule. The position requires strong leadership to maintain high standards of pharmacy services and support inpatient operations effectively. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (required); Masters Degree in Pharmacy (preferred) Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospital or institutional pharmacy setting Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required This position offers flexibility with full-time, contract, or temp-to-hire engagements and is open to both local pharmacists and travel candidates with substantial inpatient leadership experience.
