Cost/Pricing Analyst II

Enhance your skills and build your career as a Cost/Pricing Analyst II supporting the Chief of Pricing. You provide expert guidance, recommendations, and data‑driven pricing analyses essential to Air Force acquisition and national security projects. This role ensures compliance with Federal, DoD, and Air Force contracting regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance to procurement personnel, offering technical insights on complex cost and pricing issues.

Conduct comprehensive reviews of contract price proposals to assess compliance with laws and CAS.

Serve as primary cost/price analyst on complex or sensitive contracts, determining pricing strategies and cost objectives.

Act as technical expert on pricing matters, advising specialists on best practices.

Collaborate with Contracting Officers to establish sound cost objectives and efficient cost management.

Participate in short- and long-term teams to address unique pricing issues throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Utilize Excel proficiency for detailed analyses, data management, and accurate pricing documentation for large‑scale acquisitions.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) in a relevant field.

Experience: Minimum five years of DoD, IC, or industry experience, including at least one year in a Special Access Program or Sensitive Compartmented Information environment within the past five years.

License: Valid and active driver’s license.

Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Independent work with limited technical guidance; develop solutions to complex pricing challenges.

Advanced understanding of pricing principles, cost analysis techniques, and CAS regulations; experience in sensitive contracting.

Proficiency in Federal, DoD, and Air Force pricing regulations and contracting policies.

Strong analytical and evaluative skills, able to conduct detailed cost assessments and recommend sound pricing decisions.

High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, proposal evaluation, and cost reporting.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey technical pricing insights to stakeholders.

Proven problem‑solving skills for complex pricing issues under limited guidance.

Flexibility to travel CONUS and OCONUS as needed; travel expected to be infrequent.

Estimated Salary/Wage USD $114,000.00 / Yr. – Up to USD $162,000.00 / Yr.
