Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with strong Change Management expertise to lead and deliver healthcare IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, oversee system implementations, and ensure smooth organizational adoption of technology changes within a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure Drive change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new systems, workflows, and technologies Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to assess impact and readiness for change Develop and execute communication, training, and stakeholder engagement plans Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and internal governance standards Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and internal teams Track and report project status, milestones, and KPIs to leadership Support EHR/EMR, clinical systems, revenue cycle, or healthcare infrastructure initiatives Lead post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field 5+ years of IT Project Management experience 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT environments Strong experience with change management frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR, or similar) Hands-on experience managing system implementations or digital transformation projects Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications PMP, PgMP, or Agile certification Prosci Change Management Certification Experience with EHR/EMR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) Knowledge of clinical workflows, patient data systems, or healthcare operations Experience working in hospital systems or large healthcare networks Key Skills IT Project Management Change Management & Organizational Readiness Healthcare Systems & Compliance Stakeholder & Vendor Management Risk & Issue Management Agile / Waterfall Methodologies Communication & Training Strategy
