Job Description Local Insurance Company/ Administrative Assistant
Pay: $14 + DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday Job Duties: Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer incoming phone calls and route them appropriately Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other correspondence Prepare and process insurance documents, forms, and applications Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems Schedule appointments and manage calendars for agents or management Input and update client information into agency management systems Assist with billing, claims follow-up, and policy changes Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes Order office supplies and ensure office equipment is properly maintained Provide administrative support to underwriters, claims adjusters, and other departments as needed Job Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
