HR Generalist/Recruiter
Seeking a hands-on long term temp HR professional for our client. Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable managing both recruiting and HR administrative responsibilities. This role requires someone who can partner with management, work closely with external agencies to support recruiting efforts, and coordinate interviews with department leaders. No task is too smallthis individual will be a key contributor to both strategic and day-to-day HR operations.
Location: Thousand Oaks (hybrid-in office as needed)
Pay: $40-$50 hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Employment type: Temp 6 months plus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
- Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and provide hiring support
- Collaborate with external agencies to enhance recruiting strategies and candidate pipelines
- Coordinate interview logistics and maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring teams
- Support HR administrative functions such as onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and compliance
- Assist with HR projects, policy updates, and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain accuracy of HR data and documentation in systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruiting and HR administration
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with management, agencies, and staff
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-savvy; experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new tools
