We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards (EHS)
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance of production equipment
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement
- Manage inventory control and shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage the budget and P&L for the plant
- Lead capital projects and assess capital needs for future growth
- Ensure the effective use of raw materials to minimize waste
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 5+ years leadership experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar role within industrial manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of operations, maintenance, and production processes
- Experience with EHS regulations and safety management
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets and understand financial statements
