Overview

This position is responsible for all tasks that lead to the successful recruitment of new physicians. The coordinator keeps both candidates and customers well-informed, ensuring that all referencing and credentialing paperwork is completed and referred in a timely manner while working closely with the physician recruiter. In addition, the coordinator assists in developing philosophies, plans, strategies, and tactics that ensure the success of the physician recruitment process. The principal accountabilities, requirements, and qualifications are not exhaustive and may be revised by management as job circumstances change. Base pay

$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Job Accountabilities

Assist recruiters in effectively monitoring the candidate pool by forwarding applications and transfer requests to hiring managers, maintaining an applicant referral tracking log, notifying recruitment staff when a position\'s status changes, and screening calls and sourcing/referring candidates to hiring managers based on position requirements in the recruiter\'s absence. Support the new hire process by preparing new hire packets, preparing job offer/confirmation letters, and updating candidates on their status. Communicate with potential applicants, following all applicable guidelines, employment laws, and company employment practices. Conduct candidate searches in the applicant database as requested by the recruiter and/or as deemed necessary. Assist recruiters in planning, developing, and implementing proactive recruitment strategies, working with advertising agencies to coordinate advertising campaigns in a cost-effective manner to produce a qualified candidate pool, as directed by the recruiter. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all contacts with internal and external customers, ensuring confidential data or communications are handled appropriately when routed/distributed. Education

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent education/experience is required. Typical Experience

1 year of recent relevant experience is necessary. Skills and Knowledge

Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills with the ability to listen well. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information. Must be able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to work at a high level of accuracy, work with timelines, and problem-solve in real-time situations. General skills in computer applications and office equipment, including MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
