Salary
Financial Analyst II:
$6,281.33 - $6,583.33/monthly
Financial Analyst III:
$7,333.33 - $7,560.00/monthly
Minimum Qualifications
Financial Analyst II:
Bachelor’s degree.
Two years of experience in a grant-related field, one year in a public sector or non‑profit grant role.
Experience in grant program development, planning, management, monitoring and audit services.
Experience with Contract Management System, Grant Management System, or Centralized Accounting System.
Financial Analyst III:
Bachelor’s degree.
Three years of experience in a grant-related field, two years in a public sector or non‑profit grant role.
Experience in grant program development, planning, management, monitoring and audit services.
Experience with Contract Management System, Grant Management System, or Centralized Accounting System.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial Analyst II:
One year of experience in a grant-related field with a Texas state agency.
Financial Analyst III:
Two years of experience in a grant-related field with a Texas state agency.
Substitutions
One additional year of experience in a grant‑related field may substitute for thirty semester hours of educational requirement with a maximum substitution of 120 semester hours (four years).
Licenses and Certifications
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD).
Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM).
In this role you will
Provide administrative support for CPA agency grant programs from initiation to grant award, including grant monitoring, reimbursement review, and grant closeout.
Manage interactions between CPA grant program divisions, Legal, Budget, ISO, and CAO relating to the acquisition and entry of key grant data and approvals for the planning, notice, program initiation, and award.
Investigate and resolve grant issues as required.
Provide audit support as needed.
Administer the development, analysis, and review of grant financial data, reimbursements, and applicable business, financial, and/or regulatory plans.
Oversee legal and regulatory requirements related to CPA grant transactions.
Provide quality control for grant management systems as needed.
Ensure grant files contain required data and documentation to fulfil statutory requirements and are audit ready.
Provide key grant management reports related to grant assignments, grant status, and grant issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
