What You Will Do As a
Pricing Analyst
at Johnson Controls, you will play a key role in supporting pricing strategies and analysis that drive business decisions. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, work with data, and collaborate across teams. You will analyze pricing models, research market trends, and help develop tools that ensure competitive and profitable pricing. While you will often work independently, you’ll be part of a collaborative team and interact with departments such as Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service.
How You Will Do It
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support pricing strategies and business decisions.
Learn and use analytical tools to interpret large datasets and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
Assist in developing scalable and automated processes for pricing analysis.
Review and analyze current pricing models and suggest improvements.
Research competitor pricing and market trends to support pricing decisions.
Monitor pricing changes based on commodity and material cost fluctuations.
Support the development of dynamic pricing tools to respond to market needs.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to implement competitive pricing strategies.
Communicate findings clearly through reports and presentations to leadership.
What We Look For Required
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools (such as R, Python, SQL, or Tableau).
Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
Preferred
Internship or project experience in pricing, data analysis, or related fields.
Exposure to statistical modeling or pricing strategies.
Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (optional).
HIRING SALARY RANGE
: $62,000 - 85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. For details, please visit the
