Overview We are looking for a Systems Engineer with a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree to deliver enterprise video collaboration capabilities, including architectural design and optimization, system evaluation and analysis. The candidate will work closely with a Senior Project Manager to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
Responsibilities
Lead analysis at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Ensure logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions; translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.
Plan and coordinate technical activities, including system integration, verification and validation.
Provide detailed status updates and mitigate issues.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
Broad system experience and understanding of supporting elements of modern enterprise video capabilities architecture including OS and relevant networks.
Experience analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise video capabilities.
Technical expertise in video communication networks and Unified Communication (UC) network systems.
Ability to provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architectures.
Experience operating Cisco system components, VMWare servers, and session initiation protocols (SIP, H.323).
Experience supporting Unified Communications solutions, real‑time streaming infrastructure, and Poly/Cisco/Skype VTC platforms.
Knowledge of transport layer security protocols, certificates, and ticketing systems.
Experience in large‑scale video migration efforts in a multi‑vendor environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Trident V2CDS cross‑domain solution servers.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS Linux firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
Video or UC systems such as Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle, AcmePacket, Polycom.
Certifications: CTS, CCNA, and others related to SIP, UC, streaming infrastructure.
