Job Overview Neurodiagnostic Tech II (EEG Tech, Registered EEG Tech, REEGT, Registered Sleep Tech) at University Hospital in Madison, WI. 90%–100% FTE, 36–40 hours per week. All shifts, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. No mandatory shift changes and no call. Sign‐on bonus up to $10,000 (pro‑rated based on FTE). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

Work Schedule

Day: 8‑hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM

Evening: 8‑hour shifts between 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM

Night: 8/10/12‑hour shifts between 7:00 PM and 7:30 AM

Pay

$10,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE)

Evening and night shift differential

Weekend differential

Responsibilities

Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, analyze, and prepare descriptive reports following procedures.

Complete daily laboratory operations with high‑quality patient‑related procedures that adhere to guidelines and technical standards.

Interact with patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.

Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recordings, adapting procedures to particular clinical circumstances.

Qualifications

Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program (required).

Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program.

Work Experience

1 year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (required).

Licenses & Certifications

Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) upon hire (required).

CPR/BLS certification upon hire (required).
