Maintenance Manager - Allendale, South Carolina Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

The Allendale facility is a complex chemical manufacturing site supporting multiple production units, utilities, and site infrastructure, offering meaningful technical depth and ownership for maintenance leadership.

Role Overview This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operation of all plant equipment and systems. The Maintenance Manager will manage a multimillion‑dollar maintenance budget while driving continuous improvement, asset condition management, and capital project execution. This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role with full ownership of site maintenance performance.

Responsibilities

Lead all site maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems

Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce downtime

Manage a $2M+ annual maintenance budget, including parts inventory and storeroom operations

Provide hands‑on troubleshooting support for process equipment, utilities, and infrastructure

Scope, plan, and execute capital projects and equipment replacement initiatives

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and lead audit readiness

Qualifications

5+ years of experience leading a maintenance organization, preferably in chemical or regulated manufacturing

Strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge with hands‑on troubleshooting capability

Proven experience managing large maintenance budgets ($2M+ annually)

Demonstrated success implementing preventive maintenance and reliability programs

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and electrical drawings

Engineering background preferred; experience with PLCs, VFDs, DCS, and RCM practices a plus
