When you join the Barnhill team, you become part of the Barnhill Family.**Job Description:**Lead, develop and oversee business development and marketing activities including planning and strategy for the Division. Research, analyze, identify and prioritize potential projects, clients, strategic partnerships, markets etc. to pursue. Prepare qualification statements and efficiently lead project teams in the pursuit of new projects and formal marketing presentations. Take action as needed to ensure project goals, objectives and initiatives are met in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Barnhill Contracting Company. Relationship oriented vs. transaction oriented…transactions follow relationships.**Job Duties & Responsibilities*** Responsible for data mining client’s needs to identify buying issues/tendencies.
Responsible for leading project pursuits by implementing and maintaining a clear strategy and objective for team members. Have in-depth knowledge of the project RFP requirements/challenges, and who/how to best solve them. Organize data through completion of a Key Issues Analysis (KIA).* Responsible for identifying, researching and qualifying targeted pursuits that best fit the strengths of the division. Work closely with division managers to develop and manage pursuit pipelines and lead the go/no-go discussion and track via Cosential.* Build and cultivate relationships with sphere of influencers, including but not limited to, Owners, Organizational Leaders, Politicians, Architects, Engineers, Property Managers and other key influencers. Develop list of targeted client relationships, working closely with senior management to profile the target list. Develop strategy for development of those key relationships.* Track and analyze backlog, and work with division managers to identify annual division goals, and develop a strategy to meet/exceed goals.* Coordinate, plan and set up during the RFP phase. Lead team in developing constructability, site logistics, schedule development and management, estimating, and RFP special requirements.* Develop messaging for presentations, RFP responses and targeted collateral and oversee its production. Responsible for messaging and coaching for presentation teams. Identify individual team members, presenting strengths and weaknesses and formulate presentation around their strengths.* Lead the effort for the entire division Community Engagement Plan and maintain accountability for entire division on plan. Promote and support good internal and external relationships throughout all divisions and departments of Barnhill Contracting Company, with clients and the public.**Minimum Qualifications & Training:*** **Education:**
