The position requires a Tennessee teaching license with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement. Starting in January and running through May 22, 2026, this role offers a chance to work directly on-site supporting students with hearing impairments. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Tennessee teaching license with DHH endorsement Experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing preferred Ability to manage a caseload of K-12 students with hearing impairments Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within school teams Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers to support student success Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Location and Schedule: On-site position based in the Franklin area, Tennessee Full-time hours with caseload and school assignment to be determined Contract duration: January 2026 through May 22, 2026 This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational experiences of students with hearing impairments.
