GL Accountant
working a hybrid in-office/remote role in Los Angeles.

Role Overview The GL Accountant will be responsible for performing accurate day-to-day accounting, regulatory, reporting, and financial assignments vital to the business under the direction of the Accounting Manager and the CFO. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or several years of professional experience, and proficiency with accounting programs like Quickbooks and various month-end close software tools.
GL account reconciliation and analysis
Chart of account development and maintenance
Month end close and accrual management
Vendor payment and Customer AR management
Expense processing and reconciliation
Cash controls, reconciliations
Departmental revenue and expense reporting, reviewing, and team guiding
Revenue assurance responsibility
Opportunity to develop forecasting knowledge
Special projects as needed
Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Education
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position or Bachelor's degree in Accounting a must
Must have strong operating knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Quickbooks and Full Circle experience preferred
Strong organizational skills
Analytical skills utilized to assess performance, and to generate and analyze reporting
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical and Mental Requirements
Standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
Lifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner.
Ability to easily move throughout an office with ease.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to effectively interact with others internally and externally.
Ability to utilize office equipment in a safe and prudent manner, including a copy machine, fax machine, computer, telephone, and other general office equipment that may be used regularly.
Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, push, pull, stoop, and lift above shoulders.
Ability to work with many different personalities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Correctable vision and hearing.
Ability to work on-site as needed.
