Bookkeeper
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to support our clients by managing day‑to‑day financial activities, assisting with accurate monthly close processes, and helping deliver clear, reliable financial reporting. This role is ideal for a bookkeeping professional who has a solid foundation, enjoys structured work, and is eager to continue developing their skills in a supportive, team‑based environment. This position offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility over time, while contributing meaningful work for a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze client financial data with accuracy and attention to detail
Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and invoicing
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with maintaining the chart of accounts
Ensure proper account classifications and coding
Communicate with clients to answer routine financial questions and provide clarity on reports, with guidance as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality of client financial information at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent bookkeeping experience
Working knowledge of core bookkeeping processes and financial reporting
Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Quicken, or similar accounting platforms
Ability to read and understand financial statements
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow within the role
