Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to manage end-to-end payroll operations for approximately 2,000 employees across 27 states. This role requires strong multi‑state payroll expertise, hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now, and a deep understanding of compliance, accuracy, and process improvement. The Payroll Supervisor will serve as a key partner to HR, Finance, and Operations while ensuring timely and compliant payroll execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 3,000 employees, primarily hourly, across 27 multi‑state jurisdictions.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including review and resolution of timekeeping discrepancies.
Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings.
Review payroll registers prior to final submission to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi‑state retail or restaurant environment.
Proven experience managing payroll for large employee populations (2,000+ employees).
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred, but not required.
