This role offers an opportunity to serve as Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) at an independent retail pharmacy operating on the DRX system. With a prescription volume of 1,5002,000 Rx per month, the position requires overseeing daily retail pharmacy operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. The pharmacy currently staffs one PIC and one experienced technician, with plans to add additional personnel as volume and operations grow. Work Schedule: MondayThursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM Friday: 8:30 AM 12:00 PM Weekends: Closed Key responsibilities include managing and reviewing prescriptions, supporting efficient workflow, and providing patient care. The PIC will also play a critical role supporting a pain clinic that serves approximately 140 patients per day, so comfort with handling pain medications is essential.
