Job Description

Raymond James Private Capital Markets (PCM) advises leading private companies, financial sponsors, and institutional investors on customized capital solutions including minority equity recapitalizations, growth equity financings, structured and direct secondary transactions, and other bespoke private placements. Operating at the intersection of M&A advisory and capital markets execution, PCM combines deep expertise with strategic advisory capabilities.

We’re looking for entrepreneurial, self‑directed individuals who thrive in fast‑paced environments and want to accelerate professional development in private capital markets.

Key Responsibilities May Include, but Are Not Limited To:

Assist in the execution of private capital raises, including minority equity, structured equity, direct secondaries, and other bespoke solutions.

Support deal teams throughout the transaction process, including diligence coordination, valuation support, financial modeling assistance, preparation of investor materials, and transaction execution activities.

Help build and update detailed financial models, capitalization tables, returns analyses, and waterfall structures under the guidance of senior team members.

Support investor outreach efforts by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and assisting with investor communications as needed.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with sector coverage, M&A, and capital markets teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Assist with origination and business development initiatives through market research, idea generation, and pitch material development.

Conduct research and analysis on private capital markets, alternative asset classes, and broader macroeconomic trends to support deal structuring and client advice.

Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn across all assignments.

Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with expected graduation date of Spring 2027 in a business or quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field) from a top‑tier institution.

Strong academic performance (3.7+ GPA) with a demonstrated interest in investment banking or corporate finance.

Foundational understanding of financial statements and accounting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with financial databases (CapIQ, PitchBook) is a plus but not required.

Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and organizational skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and able to perform in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
