IMS is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of HR Senior Generalist. The Human Resources Senior Generalist will be responsible for performing HR‑related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting HR initiatives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition, training, benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, policy & procedures, and HRIS. This individual will consistently maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all information to which they are given access, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting any non‑compliance concerns, and aligning with IMS’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assists in preparation and maintenance of the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual

Participate in benefits administration for IMS employees to include medical, dental, vision, 401k, HSA, Ancillary benefits, etc., including management of annual Open Enrollment

Participate in employee relations issues in collaboration with leaders and the Human Resources Director including investigations; advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues

Participate in the 401k administration, assist with annual reports for auditors, and compliance with all ERISA legislation

Provide oversight for recruitment efforts for all exempt and non‑exempt employees

Provide oversight to the onboarding experience of all new hires to include conducting new‑employee orientations

Participate in the annual updates of the compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; participates in the annual salary surveys; analyzes compensation; assists in monitoring the performance evaluation program

Ensure compliance with EEO and OSHA compliance

Maintains human resource information system (HRIS) records and compiles reports from the database

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge of and skill in applying the principles, practices and procedures of human resources administration in the areas of recruitment and employment, compensation and classification, employee relations, HRIS (UKG), employee development and training

Knowledge of and skill in interpreting and applying state and federal statutes and applicable rules and regulations related to the management of human resources

Knowledge of statistical methods and concepts and other analytical tools used in human resources processes

Skill in facilitating meetings and delivering presentations

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field

5-7 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist/Senior Human Resources Generalist

Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources
