Summary The IT Security Analyst protects the organization’s information systems by identifying security risks, monitoring threats, and implementing security controls. This role ensures compliance with security policies and supports incident response and prevention activities.
Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities
Assist with implementing and maintaining security tools and solutions
Follow established security standards and assist in updating documentation
Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Monitor security systems and generate reports on incidents, risks, and compliance status
Assist with incident detection and provide support during response activities
Support security awareness training and compliance initiatives for employees and third parties
Maintain security tools and procedures relevant to daily tasks
Document security configurations, procedures, and technical findings
Compensation Range $52,000 – $56,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, SIEM, and endpoint protection
Security certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH)
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
0 – 1 years of direct experience in Information Technology required
2 – 5 years of direct experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or computer for long periods
Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 20 lbs
Stand/walk
