One of our clients in the Food/Bev industry is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the greater Salt Lake City area. This person will oversee and support the development of the Maintenance Team, ensuring the upkeep, enhancement, and expansion of the manufacturing infrastructure.
Location : Greater Salt Lake City Area
Compensation : $77,000 - $115,000
Shift : Day & Night
Responsibilities
Oversee equipment maintenance by managing preventive maintenance schedules, initiating work orders, and supporting repairs and rebuilds.
Provide technical leadership, including troubleshooting PLCs and automated systems, coaching and training team members, and conducting performance reviews.
Utilize maintenance management system to assign work orders, monitor resources, and generate reports for effective operations.
Manage staffing and workflow by assigning technicians, participating in hiring and on-boarding, and ensuring efficient shift coverage.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and continuous improvement initiatives through audits and team meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Maintenance Expertise: Solid understanding of maintenance philosophies, including Reliability Engineering, with experience supervising industrial maintenance teams.
