We are looking for a full‑time
Field Service Technician I
to service the Dallas/Fort‑Worth area.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING The Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing, fixing, upgrading and performing preventive maintenance on company electromechanical equipment such as coin & currency equipment, ATMs, software and specialized office products at client sites in the Dallas/Fort‑Worth corridor. The role requires coordination with branch sales and other service team members to guarantee ongoing success.
Responsibilities and Duties
Service, upgrade and perform preventive maintenance on company electromechanical equipment.
Travel by vehicle daily to client sites (90%) with overnight travel as needed (10%). Some long drive times are encountered depending on the geographical territory covered.
Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs.
Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time.
Cover extended hours and on‑call duty where applicable.
Safeguard and maintain a balanced vehicle stock parts inventory.
Maintain cleanliness of company‑issued vehicle, including scheduled service intervals.
Safeguard company‑issued assets such as tablet computers and mobile phones.
Perform all other duties as required.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications:
1+ year(s) of experience in a technical/field‑service position or similar technical profession.
Impeccable integrity.
Must be able to gain access to highly secured environments; occupational licenses may be required depending on territory/account.
Strong electromechanical aptitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a positive, customer‑first attitude.
Personable, approachable and able to work easily with others at all levels.
Strong attention to detail – able to proof and prioritize your own work.
Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications and Windows OS.
Ability to set and track goals independently, initiate and follow through on assignments without coaching, and work proactively as a team player.
Able to commit to and meet project deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Available for periodic travel to our corporate office in Mt. Prospect, IL for training classes.
Able to lift, push or carry a minimum of 50 pounds such as large money‑counting machines and parts in and out of client sites.
The job requires kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting and squatting to service equipment on the ground up to 60% of the time.
Hand and wrist dexterity needed to turn screwdrivers and place parts and equipment.
Phone or desk work about 10% of the time doing computer work, bench repair work, parts stocking, tracking service calls and setting up appointments.
Ability to stand for long periods up to 75% of the time while servicing some equipment.
