We're committed to giving children back their childhood!**Job Posting Title:**Athletic Trainer, Community Events (PRN)**Location:**Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center**Additional Posting Details:**PRN**Job Description:**# **Duties/Responsibilities*** Athletic Trainers coordinate and provides coverage for outside events on behalf of the Sports Medicine Center* Assist in the assessment and treatment of sport-related injuries at events designated by the Scotitsh Rite* Provide sports injury assessment at events, and on-site care of athletic injuries, such as immediate first aid and evaluation of injury status* Refer athletes requiring additional medical or health care services to the appropriate resources for such care (for example, the athlete’s primary care physician or nearest hospital)# Required Skills/Abilities* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an accredited athletic training program or related field* Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred* Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) certification preferred* License in the state of Texas* CPR required #J-18808-Ljbffr
