We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our kitchens and bakeries operate efficiently. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration, and HVAC systems across our campus.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment.
Install and calibrate kitchen ventilation and appliance systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety standards.
Utilize diagnostic tools and hand tools for repairs.
Core Equipment
Refrigeration: Walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines.
Cooking Equipment: Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles.
Ventilation & HVAC: Exhaust hoods, rooftop units.
Dishwashing & Sanitation: High-capacity dishwashers.

Minimum Qualifications
CFC Universal Certification
EPA 608 certification
Legal work authorization in the US
Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
COVID-19 vaccination
At least 3 years of experience in:
Commercial kitchen equipment service
Refrigeration systems
Electrical troubleshooting
Gas-fired equipment
