Mon‑Fri; every other weekend required. Purpose
Provide hands‑on care, physical and emotional support, and maintain safe, comfortable home‑like environment for residents. Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in development and updates of Personalized Service Plans; attend family review meetings as requested. Follow hydration schedule established for residents. Complete resident meal attendance sheets; provide room service for residents not dining in dining room. Know and comply with all resident rights. Initiate, assign, and assist with activities as appropriate. Check all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriate clothing, continence issues, and change in condition. Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions. Check assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanliness and neatness; take appropriate action; ensure high‑risk rooms are double‑checked. Assist with conducting laundry rooms and common areas; check for cleanliness and any exposed hazardous chemicals; take appropriate action. Complete all ADLs for assigned residents according to the resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP). Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly and immediately; take appropriate action including resetting call bells. Education/Experience/Licensure‑Certification
High School education preferred and may be required by the state. Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age to perform personal care aspects of the RCA position. Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred. Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours; available to customers at peak service delivery days and times. Seniority Level
