Position is full-time, daytime hours, located in Granite City, IL.
Overview The region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care is seeking an integrated outpatient clinician to work with clients for co-occurring (Mental Health & Substance Use) services. Responsibility includes promoting self-directed recovery, trauma‑informed care, evidence‑based individual, family, and group therapy, linking clients to community resources, and fostering positive interactions within Chestnut and the community.
Responsibilities
Help consumers regain control over their lives through self‑directed recovery.
Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma‑informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
Use evidence‑based practices focusing on individual, family, and group therapy.
Link clients to community resources including DCFS, probation/parole, courts, medical care, and natural supports.
Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community to sustain a favorable program reputation.
Offer telehealth services as dictated by funding sources, client needs/desires, and supervisory assignment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field and qualify as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) in the state of Illinois. IL licensure of LMFT, LCSW, or LCPC required.
Must be willing to be trained in the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA).
Must obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training.
Basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, Outlook, Teams, email and an electronic medical record (EMR).
