Windham Hospital is looking for an
MRI Technologist – Radiology
in Chaplin, CT.
Location: Windham Community Memorial (10183).
Shift Details:
MRI service hours are Sunday through Saturday. Typical shifts are 12 to 14 hours starting at 7A & 8A. Typical work week includes 3 shifts per week, 36 to 40 hours per technologist.

Responsibilities Perform MRI exams in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. Prepare and position patients, inject contrast media, and accurately select anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) with an Associate Degree focusing on medical imaging, preferably MRI.
ARRT certification in Radiography, ARRT MRI, or ARMRIT required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
