Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Critical Care Unit (ICCU)
Join to apply for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Critical Care Unit (ICCU) role at Novant Health. This position is located at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. It is a full‑time position with a 72‑hour per 2‑week night shift schedule (7:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M.). Eligible for up to a $15,000 sign‑on bonus and $7,500 relocation assistance (subject to qualification).
What You’ll Do
Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill patients
Monitor complex conditions and perform advanced interventions
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
Respond swiftly to changes using sound clinical judgment
Document care accurately and participate in rounds and QI initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 4‑Year / Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school required. If your RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state, a board‑approved refresher course is required prior to reactivation.
Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required; ENPC, TNCC or CEN preferred. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
