False Job Description

In coordination with the Administrative Director of Ambulatory Clinics, plans and manages the daily operations of 3 or more clinics and associated programs. Responsibilities include leading and organizing the continuous improvement of patient care services; developing, supervising, and ensuring the competence of clinic staff; ensuring compliance with accreditation standards; managing the clinic budget and efficiently using resources; and providing direct patient care and coordinating the care of patients with other clinics and ancillary services. Responsible for hiring and training support staff, including management staff. Levels of care range from basic first aid/treatment to assessment of patients, planning care, and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment measures. Ages of patients served spans the spectrum of the life cycle. Care will be directed at assessing, diagnosing, and treating human responses to perceived actual or potential physical or psychological problems recognizing that each age group has unique developmental characteristics influencing the approach that should be utilized in caring for these patients. Minimum Qualifications

Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio BA/BS required (10+ years of supervisory experience in lieu of degree may be accepted) Previous supervisory experience required Previous budgetary experience preferred Required to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays Tactful, respectful and courteous in dealing with patients, visitors, students, residents, physicians, and staff Able to maintain effective working relationships with personnel and medical staff Successfully completed orientation program within 90 days Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction with minimal supervision Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with multiple teams Previous experience with accreditation including the Joint Commission Preferred Qualifications
