Giants Baseball Camps is now hiring Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area.
Giants Summer Camps is looking for summer camp coaches in the Bay Area who are energetic, positive, and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions— all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.
We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps— from Coach to Site Director—and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.
We are looking for team members who:
Have experience working with children ages 4-13
Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
Have a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
Are able to connect with children both one‑on‑one and in a group setting
Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what
Know how to have a lot of fun!!
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation
Qualifications for all coaching positions:
Be prepared to make a commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3‑5 week commitment
Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your ownBe able to pass a comprehensive background screening
Pay is based on skill level and experience
Camp Locations include:
San Francisco – West Sunset and Balboa Park
Larkspur – Redwood High School and Piper Park
Redwood City – Red Morton Park
Orinda – Wagner Ranch Elementary
San Jose – Herman Intermediate School
Elk Grove – Johnson Park Recreation
Rocklin – Johnson Springview Park
Folsom – John Kemp Community Park
Sacramento – William Land Park
Compensation:
Professional Educator: $22.00/hour (requires at least 1 school year of paid teaching experience or proof of teaching certification)
College Student / Recent Graduate: $18.67/hour
High School Student / Under 18: $18.67/hour
