Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor
Giants Summer Camps is looking for energetic, positive summer camp coaches for baseball and softball throughout the Bay Area who inspire youth to make good choices, have fun, and develop a love of the game. Core Responsibilities
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation Qualifications
Experience working with children ages 4-13 High school level or higher coaching/playing experience in baseball/softball Passion for teaching and engaging leadership Ability to connect with children one‑on‑one and in groups Strong character, integrity, and positivity Dependable and reliable attendance Prepared to commit Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day, for a minimum of 3‑5 weeks (June 8 – August 14, 2026) Own reliable transportation to each site Pass comprehensive background screening Pay based on skill level and experience Camp Locations
San Francisco – West Sunset and Balboa Park Larkspur – Redwood High School and Piper Park Redwood City – Red Morton Park Orinda – Wagner Ranch Elementary San Jose – Herman Intermediate School Elk Grove – Johnson Park Recreation Rocklin – Johnson Springview Park Folsom – John Kemp Community Park Sacramento – William Land Park Compensation
Pay is based on skill level and experience. Professional Educator: $22.00/hour (requires at least one school year of paid teaching experience or teaching certification). College Student/Recent Graduate: $18.67/hour High School Student/Under 18: $18.67/hour
