Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor (SF-West Sunset - San Francisco)
Giants Summer Camps is looking for energetic, positive coaches who love to inspire youth to make good choices be accountable for their actions, and enjoy a great time while learning baseball and softball. We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum; you’ll lead the campers to a wonderful learning experience and help them develop a love of the game and the San Francisco Giants.
We are looking for team members who:
Have experience working with children ages 4-13
Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
Pass teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging, energetic way
Can connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting
Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
Dependable and reliable; count on you to be there, no matter what.
Know how to have a lot of fun!!
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation
Qualifications for all coaching positions:
Be prepared to make a commitment Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3‑5 week commitment
Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
Pay is based on skill level and experience
Camp Locations include:
San Francisco - West Sunset and Balboa Park
Larkspur - Redwood High School and Piper Park
Redwood City - Red Morton Park
Orinda - Wagner Ranch Elementary
San Jose - Herman Intermediate School
Elk Grove - Johnson Park Recreation
Rocklin - Johnson Springview Park
Folsom - John Kemp Park
Sacramento - William Land Park
Our Interview Process:
Receive an invitation to complete a one‑way interview
Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our recruiter
Compensation:
Professional Educator: $22.00/hour (requires at least one school year of paid teaching experience or proof of teaching certification)
College Student/Recent Graduate: $18.67/hour
High School Student/Under 18: $18.67/hour
