Job Summary The courier driver reports to the Operations Manager. This job is for a Courier Driver responsible for distributing packages and documents for institutions, businesses, government agencies, and individuals. Occasional work on the weekend may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Drive a delivery van on a predetermined route and schedule
Deliver items as instructed
Load and unload vehicle as necessary
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Follow DOT regulations and compliance with local, state, federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures
Report safety, security, and theft incidents
Ensure compliance with customer information and security requirements
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
1‑2 years of experience working in a warehouse.
Valid Driver’s License
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be reliable and flexible with schedule.
Able to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs.
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Must have a customer‑service oriented, friendly, helpful, and professional disposition
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment
Legal status to work in the USA
Able to speak conversational English
Physical Requirements The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using a team lift. Must meet physical lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
