KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Culinary Craftsman: Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring every dish meetshigh standardsof quality, portioning, and presentation.
Kitchen Captain: Lead andassistkitchen staff tomaintainefficient operations and consistently deliver high-quality food and service.
S olution Strategist: Anticipatechallenges and resolve issues proactively to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
Clear Communicator:Share information effectively and address concerns from co-workers and guests with professionalism and clarity.
Organization Operator: Keep the kitchen spotless and well-organized, always meeting sanitation and safety standards.
Proactive Performer: Take initiative byanticipatingneeds and acting before issues arise, keeping service seamless.
Timekeeper of Taste: Manage time wisely to ensure food preparation and service are prompt and on point.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Previoussupervisory responsibility preferred.
At least 5 years of progressive experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
Food Handlers Certificationrequired.(mustcomply withState requirements)
Able to work effectively under pressure,maintainingcomposure while quickly evaluating situations anddeterminingthe best course of action
A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
