Our Adult Sepsis Unit offers a well‑rounded experience. We collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during morning (SNAP) rounds and ventilator rounds. Our team works together on unit projects during our Unit Practice Council. We offer flexible self‑scheduling through our electronic system.

Responsibilities
Collaborate, communicate, and facilitate optimal provision of care using computerized or digital platforms.
Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge.
Utilize clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and case‑management and adult education principles to coordinate, implement, and support the plan of care.
Ensure seamless and efficient transition of care across the continuum.
Monitor quality metrics specific to the department and ensure accurate documentation in the patient record.
Act as mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.
Education, Training, Experience, Certification and Licensure
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in New York with at least one year of experience.
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
GN or RN with less than 1‑year experience should apply to Graduate Nurse Residency positions.
Specialty credentialing and educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred.
Maintains all licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.
Participates in continuing education and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

Need to be physically and mentally capable to perform nursing processes.
