We are offering up to $10,000 in recruitment bonuses for energetic RN’s who are passionate about the nursing profession. This unit is part of our new and advanced Virtual Connected Care™ Together Team nursing model that integrates experienced telemedicine RN’s into care assignments, helping with workload. We provide a strong orientation program, opportunities for continued education and growth, and flexible scheduling to balance the needs of both unit and staff. Full‑time and part‑time shifts are considered.

Unit The unit is an acute inpatient telemetry unit caring for patients with a variety of acute medical, cardiac and respiratory conditions. It manages Class II telemetry monitoring, CPAP, Bi‑PAP, high‑flow oxygen, ventilators, and palliative care. Nursing staff attend orientation classes that include CORE EKG, end‑of‑life, and respiratory care.

Position Purpose The Registered Nurse participates in direct patient care, supervisory, or consultative services across our network. Nursing staff attend orientation classes that may include CORE EKG, end‑of‑life, respiratory care, and specialty classes depending on expertise.

What You Will Do

Collaborate, communicate, and facilitate optimal provision of care through a computerized and/or digital platform supporting daily management of care.

Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge.

Utilize clinical knowledge, critical‑thinking skills, and principles of case management and adult education to coordinate, implement, and support the plan of care.

Monitor quality metrics specific to the department and ensure complete and accurate documentation in the patient record.

Ensure quality care is rendered to all patients in accordance with New York Regulatory Agencies, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care.

Maintain current knowledge of basic health‑care economics, trends, and reimbursement methodologies, applying this knowledge to daily practice. Recognize situations requiring immediate intervention and continue to develop professionally.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York.

Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred, as per NYS requirements.

Specialty credentialing and educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred.

Maintains all licensures and certifications per NYS regulations and specialty area requirements.

Participates in continuing education, updating and maintaining knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.

Pay Range $37.60 – $58.35 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
