$24.00 per hour (weekly pay)

Shift:

First Shift (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Position Overview We are currently looking for a skilled Material Handler and Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Petersburg. This is a "hands-on" role that goes beyond operating a forklift. You will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and organization of pharmaceutical raw materials and finished goods. This position requires a high level of accuracy, a strong commitment to safety (cGMP), and the ability to manage documentation for semi-hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load/unload trailers, move pallets within the warehouse, and supply production lines.

Material Management:

Accurately receive, inspect, and stage raw materials. This includes physical handling, palletizing, and labeling of goods.

Safety & Compliance:

Maintain strict adherence to MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and OSHA guidelines.

Data Entry:

Utilize SAP (currently running S/4HANA) to track inventory movements, perform cycle counts, and reconcile stock levels.

Logistics Support:

Occasionally travel between local warehouse sites to assist with transfers or inventory audits as needed.

Warehouse Upkeep:

Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and compliant with pharmaceutical-grade storage standards.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

2–3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment (sit-down experience preferred).

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Safety Knowledge:

Comprehensive understanding of MSDS and proper handling procedures for pharmaceutical raw materials and finished goods preferred.

Computer Literacy:

Ability to navigate inventory software and basic Microsoft Office. Previous experience with SAP/HANA is a significant plus.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual warehouse tasks in addition to operating machinery.

Desired Attributes

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Reliable attendance and a "team-first" attitude.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following strict SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
