Job Description Responsibilities and duties include:

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Clean equipment and facility daily.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Complete training orientation and receive on‑the‑job training.

Essential Functions/Skills

Accurately add, subtract, multiply, divide; use a calculator as needed.

Provide correct monetary change.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Maintain strong verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Demonstrate good motor coordination for precise, quick, accurate movements.

Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to above 90°F in some work areas. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Demands

Stand for majority of shift; walk short distances.

Lifting up to 50 pounds with hand truck; stacking onto shelves up to 72".

Carrying objects up to 30 pounds.

Pushing/pulling trays on dollies (up to 30”/7.5 lb force).

Climbing stairs, stooping, bending, reaching overhead up to 72".

Frequent use of hands, forearms, wrists; pinching for packaging.
