Project Manager - Construction Baytown
Baytown, Texas, United States of America About the Role
As a T&T Project Manager, you will oversee projects within industrial sites in the Baytown and Mont Belvieu, TX areas on behalf of a global oil and gas client. This role requires near full‑time presence at these facilities. Projects will range from tenant improvements, MEP projects, facility upgrades, and more. You will manage projects from initiation through completion. What You’ll Do
Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. Define the project delivery resources from pre‑qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients. Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated. Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals. Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track progress and report status and variances. Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing action plans to reduce or eliminate risks. Apply in‑depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in‑depth knowledge of your job discipline and a broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with T&T’s culture and values, building consensus and convincing others to reach agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams. Work within broad guidelines and policies. Explain difficult or sensitive information. What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information. Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Additional Skills
Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. Experience with Procore project management software tool preferred but not required. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Sophisticated math skills; ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations. Equal Employment Opportunity
