Experienced Consultant, Energy & Utilities Join West Monroe as an Experienced Consultant in the Energy & Utilities Practice, working with utility clients on strategic and operational transformation projects.

What will you be doing? Client Delivery

Support a program management office (PMO) for utility clients, managing risks, issues, interdependencies, reporting, scheduling, and communication.

Assist Project Managers in developing project plans, budgets, and governance structures across engagements of all sizes.

Gather business process and technical requirements through workshops, producing detailed documentation, process maps, and KPIs.

Contribute to software/solution implementation, systems integration, and consulting deliverables.

Support strategic analysis and business case modeling as a business analyst.

Participate in the Energy & Utilities practice’s methodology development and best‑practice initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

1–2 years of professional experience in utilities or consulting, with direct involvement in utility projects.

Understanding of key vendors and systems (AMI, MDM, customer portals, data analytics).

Interest in project management and consulting, including presentation of business solutions.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Project, Visio).

Strong writing, communication, and critical‑thinking skills.

Willingness to travel up to 75% of the year.

Compensation & Benefits Salary ranges vary by office location:

Seattle or Washington, DC: $89,300 – $105,000 USD

Los Angeles: $93,500 – $110,000 USD

New York City or San Francisco: $97,800 – $115,000 USD

Other locations: $85,000 – $100,000 USD
