This position is eligible for
the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
Duties This Long Term Care (LTC) RN position is located on 5B at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia, which is a general home‑like LTC Unit. The incumbent Community Living Center (CLC) Registered Nurse RN will perform duties according to their levels as follows: the CLC RN is responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care. The CLC RN is responsible for providing competent, evidence‑based care to assigned residents and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting. The CLC RN executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex resident care.
