Therapist, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Schedule: Full-time

How You’ll Contribute

Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.

Display active involvement in the treatment planning process.

Provide family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.

Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources.

Work well with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilisation review, and nursing staff members.

Support UR team functions and provide treatment updates or documentation for authorisations.

Complete appropriate paperwork for clients in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.

Complete required assessment paperwork including patient assessment scales, Columbia, psychosocial/LOC assessments (not applicable at all facilities), psychosocial/LOC updates, and assigned assessment paperwork.

Demonstrate appropriate crisis intervention and de‑escalation skills.

Act as a member of the team when a crisis occurs, assisting others to ensure patient safety.

Enact the code system per company policy and training.

Complete accurate assessments of patients utilizing clinical skills.

Assist the care coordination department as requested.

What We’re Looking For Applicants should have a master’s degree in social work or counselling, or relevant state licensure. Additional requirements include:

Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.

Current, unencumbered clinical licence per state of practice guidelines.

CPR and CPR‑CPR certified within 30 days of employment.

May be required to work flexible hours.
