Location Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302
Shift Day (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
Pay Range $46.47 - $64.93 per hour

Qualifications
ADN required
RN experience required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Preferred:
BSN
Certifications and Licenses Required
Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
BLS from the American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS
Scheduling Requirements
Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, 35.3 hours per week
Full Time
Monday – Friday, each and holiday rotation
Essential Functions
Provide nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assure awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
Assure safety in practice and incorporate evidence‑based practice; maintain a realization of one’s knowledge and experience and assume responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team through communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available.
Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e., damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors.
Have knowledge of the patient population served.
Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other patient care providers.
Consistently set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
Act as an individual practitioner and the interdisciplinary team manager; use the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualize the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs.
