Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMA assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours and works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, patients, and other staff members.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Must possess a current and valid CMA certificate.
Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice.
Experience in correctional or behavioral health desired but not required.
CPR certified.
Phlebotomy certified.
Ready to provide clinical support and maintain a safe and secure environment.
