Senior Accountant

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a successful manufacturer in the Pulaski, TN area and they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee all accounting and financial operations at the plant level. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and guiding accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
Base pay range $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting functions for the manufacturing plant
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Manage and support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Maintain and oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes
Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset tracking
Develop and manage budgets and forecasts; analyze variances and performance
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in financial reporting
Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide guidance and process improvements
Partner with plant leadership to support operational and financial decision‑making
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience overseeing full‑cycle accounting functions
Strong understanding of financial statements and cost drivers in manufacturing
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
