Job Summary This position requires the ability to operate multiple sizes and brands of heavy, aerial, water pump, and shoring equipment, load and unload equipment safely off and onto trucks and trailers, wash equipment, check/inspect and communicate any damages when equipment is brought back, perform minor repair/inspections and preventive maintenance services on the equipment, work in all weather types, demonstrate great organizational and communication skills, and be able to work with customers professionally and courteously.
Job Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience operating and loading/unloading heavy equipment is preferred.
A college degree or continuing education in a technical field is preferred.
Experience in construction or power equipment service and repair is a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Key Competencies
General technical service skills, mechanical aptitude, or experience with construction or power equipment required.
Must be organized, self‑motivated, and able to work without direct supervision and work flexible/shift hours.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Some computer and software skills are required.

Physical Requirements Lifting/carrying 40 lb. limit, 50 lb pulling, standing/sitting, up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines. Dexterity normal. Frequent repetitive motions requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. Noise level in the work environment varies from quiet in office settings to moderate to loud in other situations, with occasional sudden loud noises.
