Pay and Hours
Starting Rate of Pay: $21.15 per hour
Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour extra for shift differential
Shifts Available and Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, overtime as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Check billet/logs availability for daily schedule due dates.
Verify proper ID & selection of billets/logs for each order.
Ensure racks, skids, and baskets are ready for operators.
Check and maintain ovens, load and unload ovens, and perform hourly checks.
Have read and understand work instructions for extrusion presses and age ovens.
Empty scrap and chip hoppers as needed.
Comply with company safety and housekeeping specifications.
Responsible for minor maintenance on forklift, check fluid levels and general condition.
Complete “Lift truck operator’s daily inspection report.”
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English.
Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to specific position.
Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to specific position.
Must have good driving skills.
